Description:
Project is on NE Cornell Road (a county arterial roadway). NE 17th and 21st Avenues are Hillsboro city roads. Washington County is treating Cornell Rd/17th Ave and Cornell Rd/21st Ave as a single hot spot due to their close proximity to each other and likelihood that traffic between the two streets will shift once the signal is installed. The resulting project will increase safety and roadway capacity. The project will restrict Cornell Rd and 17th Ave to right in/right out only maneuvers. Project will also install a signal at Cornell Rd/21st Ave. At both intersections install streeting lights, ADA compliant ramps and current standard storm water inlets at existing curb inlets. The specific A&E and Related Services include preliminary and final engineering design services, environmental(consistent with NEPA) and permitting services, and survey services. The statement of work (SOW) will be developed and negotiated, within the scope advertised in this RFP, with the selected Proposer for inclusion in the Contract. A draft SOW is provided in RFP in Attachment C (part of the Sample Contract) which will be negotiated with the selected Proposer for inclusion in the Contract.
