The Georgia Department Of Public Safety (dps) Is Posting A Bid For Construction Of A New Post In Sylvania, Georgia - Post 21. See Attached Detailed Specifications And Drawings. The Contractor Shall Provide All Equipment, Tools, Labor, Supervision, Permits, Site Work, And Other Necessary Things To Complete The Construction. The Project Is Under The Jurisdiction Of The Georgia State Fire Marshal. Dps Already Has The Construction Permit From The State And The City Does Not Issue Permits On State Projects/state Property. Work Shall Begin As Soon As Schedule Allows After Award Notice. A Mandatory Site Visit Is Scheduled For Thursday, October 2, 2025 At 10:00 Am. The Lot For Post 21 - Sylvania Adjoins To The Screven County Parks & Recreation Department. We Will Meet At The Entrance To Screven County Parks & Recreation At 1605 Millen Highway, Sylvania, Ga 30467. Contractor Must Complete And Have Notarized The Ga Security And Immigration Affidavit. Contractors Must Provide Proof Of Liability Insurance With Dps As The Certificate Holder.
