- New Hanover County Request for Bids Holly Shelter Road Business Park - Roadway Infrastructure Improvements - Phase 1 RFB# 26-0250 Section 1 Request for Bid Pursuant to GS 143-129, sealed bids addressed to Lena Butler, Purchasing Supervisor, New Hanover County Finance Department, 230 Government Center Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403 and marked "RFB 26-0250 Holly Shelter Road Business Park Roadway Infrastructure Improvements Phase 1" will be accepted until 3:00 PM EST, 01/15/2026 for the following work: 1.1 Project Details: The project will generally consist of a new pump station including 12' ID wetwall, duplex submersible pumps with one spare pump, valve vault, prefabricated control building, backup generator, SCADA, and other associated appurtenances. Work will include entire full buildout for pump station installation, testing, and start up etc. In addition, a new onsite divided median roadway approximately 2750 LF and a new right turn lane approximately 800 LF off Holly Shelter Road. Work will include, clearing and grubbing, grading, paving, drainage, utilities, erosion control, and striping. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud following the latest time for receipt of bids in the New Hanover County Government Center - Meeting Room 134 @ 230 Government Center Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.
