The County Delivers A Wide Range Of Services Through Departments That Support Emergency Services, Public Safety, Health And Human Services, Environmental Management, Infrastructure And Planning, Internal Government Operations, Community Programs, And Cultural And Educational Resources. These Departments Operate On Varied Schedules, Including Public Safety First Responder Critical Response Operations, 24 Hours A Day, 7 Days A Week. New Hanover County Is Seeking A Qualified And Responsive Occupational Health Provider To Deliver Comprehensive, Flexible, And Timely Services. The Selected Provider Should Demonstrate Strong Clinical Expertise And The Ability To Make Clear, Timely, And Evidence-Based Fit-For-Duty Determinations That Support Workplace Safety And Operational Readiness. The Provider Must Also Collaborate Effectively With Multiple Stakeholders And Contribute To The County'S Commitment To A Safe, Healthy, And Productive Workforce. A Strong Emphasis Is Placed On Early Return-To-Work Strategies, With Light-Duty Assignments Offered Whenever Medically Appropriate. The Ideal Partner Will Understand And Support These Practices While Fostering A Dependable And Solutions-Oriented Working Relationship.
