DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project location is Sarasota County, Florida on the central western Gulf Coast of Florida. Work consists of dredging beach compatible sand from New Pass federal navigation channel for placement on the Lido Key beach placement area, located approximately 0.5 miles to 2.5 miles south of New Pass. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, beach tilling, Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) construction support, vibration monitoring, turbidity monitoring, and environmental species monitoring.
The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 7 August 2025 and bids will be due on or about 22 September 2025.

The Small Business Standard is $37 million
The Magnitude of construction is $5,000,000.00 - $10,000,000.00.
This project will have an estimated period of performance of 160 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP), including 60 calendar days to commence work.
THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE REQUIREMENT.
