Please note that this is not a request for proposal nor a request for quote as there is no solicitation document available. This is a notice of intent to sole source issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs to solicit a limited source contract with Premier Medical Distributors IAW Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations (VAAR) authority 819.7007 Sole Source Awards to a Verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business , for Guldmann brand Patient Lifts. The VA intends to solicit a limited source contract with a verified SDVOSB Premier Medical Distributors for the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Centers, Iron Mountain, MI. The VA has a mandate to support veteran businesses with is Vets First policy. This purchase will allow for standardization with the existing Guldmann patient lifts already installed at the Oscar G. Johnson VAMC, Iron Mountain, MI. Information received in response to this special notice will be considered solely for market research purposes. The determination to not compete the proposed acquisition is wholly within the discretion of the Government IAW the above authority found in VAAR 819.7007. The Government will not be responsible for paying on any costs incurred and/or associated with the development of any responses submitted to this notice.
