The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award asole source award to Illumnia, Inc. for the NEXTSEQ 2000 DNA Sequencing System for the Durham VA Medical Center located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC, 27705. The Durham VAMC Research Service is one of five VA Medical Centers supporting a national sequencing mission project. In order to maintain data continuity and provide comparable results between the five VA medical center sites participating in this research, the Durham VAMC requires the NextSeq 2000 Sequencing System. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole source provider of the NEXTSEQ 2000 DNA Sequencing System and all associated products and installation.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents areavailable and telephone requests will not be accepted.However, any business that believes it can provide NEXTSEQ 2000 DNA Sequencing Systemand associated products may give written notice to Cherisse.Hall@va.gov by 10:00am EST on January 9, 2023. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below.
