This notice is being published as required by FAR 5.201(b)(1).
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a competitive Firm-Fixed price contract for the following in accordance with Government drawings:
Nose Gear Launch (NGL) Assembly, Flush Deck, Part Number 613474-7. The NGL Assembly, Flush Deck includes the following components:

The required NGL Assembly, Flush Deck are Critical Safety Items (CSIs) and therefore it is the Navy's intent to pursue a limited competition between the following vendors whom are qualified to provide these CSIs:

--Penn State Tool and Die Shop, 7590 Route 30, Irwin, PA 15642--Duhadaway Tool & Die Shop Inc., 801 Dawson Drive, Newark, DE 19713-3415--Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Corporation, Target Rock Division, 1966E Broadhollow Road,Farmingdale, NY 11735-1713 The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 333998. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The limited number of responsible sources listed above are the only companies that can meet the agency's need for the NGL Assembly, Flush Deck in support of CVN80.
