Synopsis:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Nashville District (LRN) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for this requirement. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. This notice is being issued for planning and information purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept quotes as result of this notice. The performance work statement for this requirement will only be available upon solicitation issuance.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District Contracting Division has a requirement that will require a rehabilitation of the highspeed gearbox for the tow haulage unit at Nickajack Lock in Jasper, TN that will return the gearbox to OEM specification. The contractor shall pickup the gearbox for the Nickajack Lock and ship it back to their facility.
