Description
The Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy - Management - Contract Management Division (DUSN-M/CMD), on behalf of the National Security Integration Office (NSIO) intends to award a firm fixed-price sole source procurement with IET, Corp, 43855 Airport View Drive, Hollywood, MD 20636-3109, to provide;
The intended sole source contractor that will be completing the additional communications work at JBAB Building 168 will be Integrated Electrical Technologies Corporation (IET Corp). This will be a sole source requirement due to the essence of time that the additional work needs to be completed and the current contractor is currently doing work in the same location and already possess the clearances and knowledge of what is needed for a seamless transition of performance..
The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210. Interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. An Other Than Full and Open Competition Justification is attached to this notice.
The circumstances permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements." The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any sources exist, and therefore, no Request for Quote (RFQ) is available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all information received by 26 February 2025 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses received from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
