This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
This competition is open to all businesses (full and open competition). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 112990, All Other Animal Production, with a size standard of $2.75 Million.This solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect in Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-01 dated 11 November 2024 and Defense Publication Notice 20241115 dated 15 November 2024. Requirement Description
The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), School of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology and Molecular Therapeutics (PHA) has a requirement for 18 Non-Human Primates (NHP) with African Green species origin in support of the Transforming Technology for the Warfighter (TTW) program research. Quotes that do not meet all minimum essential characteristics (MECs) outlined in the contract specifications are not acceptable. Refer to Attachment 1: Specifications for MECs. Delivery shall occur in three phases with the first group of NHPs delivered by 15 February 2025, the second group delivered by 30 June 2025, and the remaining group delivered by 15 October 2025.
