The Naval Special Warfare Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide military, non-standard parachute canopies and harness containers. This brand name (Performance Designs and Sunpath) acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the simplified acquisition procedures for certain commercial items at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). The Justification and Approval will be posted under this synopsis.
The items will be acquired in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
