THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTESNaval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI), 380 New York Street, Redlands, California 92373-8118, United States. Under the authority of FAR 13.106 (1) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for annual renewal of ArcGIS software licenses for the Naval Post Graduate School-s academic instruction and research which is used by Computer Science (CS), Space Systems and the Graduate School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (GSEAS).ArcGIS is a geospatial and map making/modeling software. In addition to spatial data editing and visualization, ArcGIS provides spatial analysis and modeling features including overlay, surface, proximity, suitability, and network analysis, as well as interpolation analysis and other geostatistical modeling techniques.ArcGIS is geospatial and map making/modeling software that is proprietary to Environmental Research Systems Institute (ESRI) Inc. Educational licensing is not available for resale through third party resellers. Educational licensing only available from ESRI Inc. as confirmed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The software will be paid for via the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).Personnel cannot cancel or discontinue services until directed by the Government. The anticipated award date of this action is on or before 25 February 2025.
