Tender are invited for Notice to Begin Engineering and Environmental Studies/Request for Public CommentsTok Cut Off Highway MP 0-8 Rehabilitation State Project Number: NFHWY00762The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is proposing to rehabilitate the Tok Cut Off Highway MP 0-8. This project will be reconstructing the Tok Cutoff Highway between MP 0-8. Project work will include resurfacing pavement, grubbing vegetation, replacing signs, mailboxes, and guardrails, repair and/or replace damaged culverts, recondition ditches, potential utility relocations, and minor repairs to Gakona River Bridge (#0646) including replacing missing bolts, patching spalls at near end abutment, removing debris from Pier 3 to prevent scour, addressing asphalt cracks, and installing asymmetric bridge rail transition pieces if needed. Materials will be furnished by the contractors.
