This is a Synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.2 Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions.
This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for BPA Call orders under the Land Management Integrated Resources (LMIR) BPA, in accordance with the established scope of work for Fuels Reduction and Vegetation Management and accompanying terms from the Land Management Integrated Resources BPA.
Project Title: Diamond Hand Thinning
Location: Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit
Project Description: Pre-commercially thin trees, fell snags, and hand pile activity fuels and down logs in conifer stands. Work activities are to be accomplished utilizing hand-held or manual equipment. The project area consists of 264 acres with a contract length of 2 operational seasons.
This BPA is composed of small and large businesses; the proposed Call Order will be set aside for small businesses. The Call Order RFQ and any amendments will be emailed to all small businesses listed under Forestry, Vegetation Management, or Fuels Treatments on the BPA.
