Seeking Shock Absorbing Carpet System
Child Development Center activity room shock absorbing carpet systems must comply with Air Force Civil Engineer FC 4-470-14F (Design: AF Child Development Centers, dated 07 July 2015) with the specifications below:
Meet Indoor playground guidelines set by US Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) Meet ASTM F 1292 and ASTM F 2373 at minimum 3 ft. critical fall height with transition not to exceed 1/12 Meets ABA requirements Impact-absorbing mat/padding system Contains Anti-microbial properties Solution dyed Integrated moisture barrier CRI Green Label Contains Zero VOC-s Conventional Cleaning process Integral wall base system Includes three (3) sides of ADA Tapered Perimeter Edges, with one (1) edge finished for wall placementQuantities Required:
Madison CDC: Three (3) units Pershing CDC: Six (6) units Deliverables and Acceptance:
All materials must be per specifications. Work shall be subject to inspection and acceptance by the on-site government representative. Upon completion, the contractor shall provide a written warranty and installation documentation for each unit installed.
