NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE
The Defense Nuclear facilities Safety Board (DNFSB), Office of Chief Counsel (OGC), intends to award a contract to WEST PUBLISHING CORPORATION (West Corp.), a branch of Thompson Reuters, on a sole source basis. The services provided by West Corp. are in support of the Defense Nuclear facilities Safety Board Office of Chief Counsel.
The authority permitting this sole source acquisition without full and open competition is prescribed by FAR FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. An approved Justification and Approval (J&A) authorizing this procurement will be posted in accordance with FAR 13.105(c). The DNFSB/OGC requires four (4) subscriptions for each of the below-listed WestLaw services, and one (1) subscription for PeopleMap Premier + Company from Thomson Reuters. WestLaw provides a legal search engine and contains different search service subscriptions.
