Description:
The U.S. Department of Energy-s Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) intends to issue a firm-fixed award to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, Optical Society of America (OSA). DOE intends to award this requirement as a sole source contract with a one-year base period. OSA is the sole provider for access to the required online journals.
The incumbent contractor shall provide the Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Science (SC) an online journal subscription for online access to the Optical Society of America Journals listed below. Subscription is by calendar year. Access is restricted to the Office of Science. DOE is provided with a direct link to the website which is listed on the OSTI.gov website under the pulldown tab labeled research tools via the SC e-journals link button. This for the Office of Science and is not publically accessible. Subscription period is for the 2026 calendar year.
