Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source 8(a) Procurement to The J Group, LLC, for Temporary Pilot Services
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer, Memphis District, Contracting Division, intends to issue a commercial services purchase order pursuant to the authority of FAR 19.8 on a sole source basis to The J Group, LLC. This procurement is to be performed for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Memphis District Operations Division. The Contractor shall furnish temporary support personnel for the 2025 Mississippi River Commission (MRC) Low Inspection Trip and Revetment Season. The contractor shall provide pilot personnel services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement.
The proposed action will be a Commercial Firm Fixed-Price Services type contract.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561320 with a Small Business size standard in amount of $34,000,000 dollars. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. This notice is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability (include detailed technical information and other technical literature) demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirements by e-mailing Contract Specialist, Alexandria Duckett at Alexandria.D.Duckett@usace.army.mil no later than 10:00 a.m. Central Time on July 9, 2025.
A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
