THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This synopsis is in accordance with FAR Part 5. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Program Office intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, 86 South Cobb Drive, Marietta, GA 30063-0290. Since it has been determined that only one responsible source is available and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. TECHNICAL DATA IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THESE REQUIREMENTS. This acquisition will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, using a combination of Cost Reimbursement and Fixed Price contract types. The ordering period will be a maximum of six (6) years (i.e., three-year base, two-year option, and one-year option). The anticipated award date is fiscal year 2026. The scope of this IDIQ is for the purchase of, but not limited to, integrated services to plan, execute, and deliver capability modifications, and to provide a range of engineering, logistics, and analytical capabilities (including: hardware/software development/verification, technical documentation, crisis management support, study support and sustainment support and field deficiency resolution) for its special mission variant fleets. This support encompasses AC/HC/MC-130J aircraft requirements originating at Wright-Patterson and Robins AFBs.
