NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Northwest Region Office (NWRO), intends to enter into a Sole Source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Automated Control Systems, Inc., a Non-Indian Owned Small Business, for the Service, Maintenance and Training of the Alerton Control System that controls the HVAC and boilers for the Detention Center in Towaoc, Colorado. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a Single Source.Automated Control Systems, Inc. will provide the following items:Base Service and Maintenance Scope of Work:1) Provide Two (2), on-site service trips in one (1) year to cover the following:a. The first service trip will be two (2) days.b. The second service trip will be one (1) day.c. Back-up the Alerton Control System database.d. Check Alarm Log.e. Check Schedules.f. Check user activity Log.g. Check Override Log.h. Check functionality of Alerton DDC controllers thru Envision for BACtalk.i. Check functionality of field devices and document any failed devices.j. Review with owner all findings, any changes and/or issues the owner has identified with the Alerton Control System.2) Provide all minor software upgrades within the same version release; 1.0, 1.1 etc.3) ACSi Technician to provide training on the Alerton BAS and Alerton Software.Automated Control Systems, Inc. is the only authorized dealer for Service, Maintenance and Training of the Alerton Control System. Automated Control Systems, Inc. is the sole, authorized dealer of Alerton building automation solutions for the State of New Mexico and the counties of La Plata, Montezuma, Dolores, San Juan, San Miguel and Ouray in Southwest Colorado. No solicitation is available and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement.
