Description
The purpose of this notice is to inform all parties that the United States Navy, Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAWARSYSCOM) in support of the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) (PMW 770) intends to award a sole source contract for 21 Electronic Hull Penetrators (EHPs) to Teledyne D.G. O'BRIEN (DGO), 162 Corporate Drive Suite 100, Portsmouth, NH 03801. Teledyne is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the EHPs. All other vendors can only procure these items from the OEM then add their own fees on it before reselling at a much higher price. EHPs are Level 1 material, SUBSAFE parts. There is no other company that can produce these EHPs. This effort will cover continued services for 22 months total with first two delivered 12 months and then 2 per month thereafter. This announcement is for subcontracting possibilities only. The NAICS for this procurement is 335931. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. This notice is also posted on the NAVWAR e-commerce website at https://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil. Sole Source authority FAR Subpart 6.302-1 will satisfy the agency requirements. IMPORTANT NOTES: Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice.
