NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT -- J036NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACTIntended Source: FRIGID FLUID COMPANYStreet Address: 11631 W GRAND AVECity, State, Zip: MELROSE PARK, IL 60164-1302Period of performance: 01/01/2025-12/31/2025Description of Requirement: The requirement is to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement for lowering device equipment, parts and repair services with the manufacturer, Frigid Fluid Company. Once a cemetery purchases the equipment, they may only obtain replacement parts and repair services directly from the manufacturer. Currently, over ninety (90) cemeteries have purchased and own this equipment and are being supported via BPA 36C78619A0005. No other source is authorized to repair this equipment.The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1. The National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Contracting Service intends to award a single source blanket purchase agreement.NCA will solicit and negotiate directly with FRIGID FLUID COMPANY, and no solicitation will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors must have an active registration in SAM.GOV (SAM) www.sam.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties must express their interest and must be submitted in writing via email to Ralph Crum at Ralph.Crum@va.gov and are due by 3pm, February 5, 2025. No faxed documents will be accepted. If no responsive statements are received by the due date, an award will be made to FRIGID FLUID COMPANY.
