Description
This is a Notice of Proposed Contract Action Synopsis. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will receive no response. this Proposed Contract Action is publised to notify potential sources that the LBJ Job Corps Center intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract, on behalf of the USDA Forest Service, to All Service Heating and Air Conditioning for the immediate and urgent removal and replacement of two existing 5-ton cooling, 80,000 BTUh heating split HVAC systems in a twinned configuration in the B81 dormitory.
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Firms must have the equipment on hand and be able to install in Franklin, NC by 10 July 2025. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Govenrnment not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information recieved will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
Date posted to SAM.gov: July 2, 2025. Date posting will close: July 9, 2025. The Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source will be posted to SAM.gov for 7 days in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(l). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220. The Size Standard is $19 Million. The desired period of performance for the supplies and services is installed is July 10, 2025 to July 17, 2025. The responses to this synopsis will be used to confirm that this is a sole source requirement.
