This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to the University of Central Florida, CAGE Code 9H673, of 4000 Central Florida Blvd. Orlando, FL, 32816-8005.The requirement is for experimental laser system testing. Please see attached JNCP for more details.The Government intends to negotiate solely with the University of Central Florida under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330 and the size standard is $25 Million. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quote which may be considered by the Government. Comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted via e-mail ONLY to Jason.adame-quenell.civ@us.navy.mil by 19 February 2025, 5 PM Pacific Time (PT). All responses received by this date may be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
