Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division, intends to negotiate with Access Laser, located in Everett, WA, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source to purchase one (1) CO2 Laser.
NIST requires a CO2 Laser for an optical machining of optical fiber facets. Output power of 20 W in a clean mode and with low beam-pointing fluctuations and closed-loop stabilized power within +/-1% of the set value or better.
