THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT-S INTENT TO INCREASE CEILING

Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Contracting Office Address: 271 Heritage Park Lane Fort Eisenhower, Georgia 30905 hereby provides notice of its intent to execute a modification to increase the ceiling of the current the current single award full food service Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract using other than full and open competition, based on the circumstances identified in 10 U.S.C.3204(a)(1) and as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The ceiling increase will be applicable to the remaining ordering period of the IDIQ contract, including the six month extension available under the clause FAR 52.217-8, “Option to Extend Services”. The current ordering period ends January 23, 2025. The increase of the ceiling is intended to meet both immediate and forecasted requirements until such time that a follow-on contract can be awarded.
Full Food Service operations are those activities that comprise the full operation of an Army dining facility. These include but are not limited to receiving, storing, preparing, requisitioning, and serving food.
The J&A for this action will be posted in accordance with FAR 6.305. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach.
