NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:The 377th Mission Support Group Contracting Squadron, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico intends to award a sole source purchase order to Times Microwave Systems Inc. (cage code 68999), 358 Hall Ave P.O Box 5039 Wallingford, CT 06492. Times Microwave Systems Inc. will be able to provide the 58 coaxial cables of various lengths and 40 connectors of various types capable of transmitting the high levels of power needed to transmit to the 1500-watt amplifiers necessary for certain mission objectives. These cables/connectors will need to ensure the least amount of power loss to increase efficiency, be flexible and rugged for extreme environments. Times Microwave Systems Inc. has been identified as having the inventory readily on hand and ready to deliver the required materials.This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 04 March 2025. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above.A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.A Sole Source Justification Letter will be posted with the Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source IAW Far 6.305(a).The closing date for this notice is 25 February 2025 at 10:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time.
