Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract
This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to a Small Business (SB) and is not a request for competitive proposals.
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Guideline Geo Americas Inc. for ABEM Terrameter LS 2.

Terrameter LS 2 1 each Imaging Cable with 16 take-outs, 5m spacing 1 each Steel Electrode 128 each Cable to electrode jumper 128 each Cable joint for 16 take-out cable 2 each Virtual Training 1The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 13.5, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement.

This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes, however, if any other interested party believes that it can provide the required products, it may submit a statement of capabilities. Capability statements must display sufficient detail and evidence to determine if the party has the ability to provide the required products. The statement of capabilities must be furnished in writing and emailed to Sandra.Driver@usda.gov and Nancy.Harris@usda.gov by January 3, 2025 at 9:00 am Central Daylight Time (CDT). The government will not pay for information received in response to this announcement.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
