The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock NM intends to make a Single Source award to Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation, for preventative maintenance of the Richard Wolf Laparoscopic equipment and instrumentations. The projected period of performance is:
Base Period: 06/01/2025 - 05/31/20026
Option Period One: 06/01/2026 - 05/31/2027
Option Period Two: 06/01/2027 - 05/31/2028
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchase not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
The Contractor, Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation, is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required preventative maintenance services on original purchased Richard Wolf equipment and instrumentations for direct patient care OR procedures that will be administered in the outpatient services of the Operating Room department at NNMC.
This Notice of Intent to Single Source is not a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this Notice of Intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated preventative maintenance services may provide a capabilities statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be submitted no later than 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST) on Friday, May 16, 2025, via email to matthew.atcitty@ihs.gov
A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
