NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE:
(THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE)
The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron, Cannon AFB, New Mexico intends to award a single source firm fixed price contract to Iteris, INC, Cage Code:56372, Address: 1700 Carnegie Ave Ste 100 Santa Ana, California. Cannon, AFB is currently borrowing three(3) traffic light controllers from The City of Clovis. The City of Clovis uses all Iteris traffic light controllers and performs all maintenance on traffic lights in the city as well as on Cannon, AFB. Cannon, AFB has to return the borrowed controllers back to The City of Clovis and purchase three(3) of their own. This approach guarantees seamless integration, eliminates compatibility risks, and ensures consistent repair protocols across installations. Deviating from this strategy would introduce significant technical challenges, jeopardizing system interoperability and potentially creating traffic hazards if light controllers go down. This purchase will be made under FAR Part 12 Commerical, and in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing a complete information describing their ability to provide the products listed above. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
