Description
In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), Section 3.2.2.4, Single Source, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to enter into a contract on a single source basis with CSSI Inc. for Voluntary Safety Reporting Program (VSRP) support services. The contract is for a base year plus two six-month option periods.
This single source procurement is necessary to maintain continuity of current services for the VSRP while AJI conducts a recompete of the relevant work. As the incumbent contractor, CSSI is uniquely positioned to perform the required services without risking a gap in services. Issuing a bridge contract to CSSI will ensure continued effective operation of the FAA-s VSRPs while the recompete is ongoing.
