The Critical Care Medicine Department (CCMD) is currently conducting a research project focused on investigating the immune response to Pneumocystis infection in murine models, as well as exploring histone modifications to enhance the understanding of Pneumocystis biology. The study utilizes 10X Genomics 5- v3 Single Cell Sequencing Kits, BCR Amplification Kits, and Single Cell Multiome ATAC + Gene Expression Kits. These proprietary kits contain specialized reagents designed for the isolation and amplification of uniquely barcoded ribonucleic acid (RNA) and chromatin-accessible regions from individual cells.
The advantages of this technology have been repeatedly validated through peer-reviewed studies. To ensure experimental accuracy and maintain compatibility with the existing 10X Genomics instrumentation within CCMD, it is essential to use only genuine 10X Genomics reagents, consumables, and components.
