Notice of Intent - 341 SFG Repair of Spacesaver Armory Racking System
Notice of Intent to Sole-Source: The 341st Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source contract to Southwest Solutions Group Inc. for the repair and replacement of components within the Spacesaver weapons racking system at the Security Forces Armory, Building 500, Room 41B, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. While the components being replaced are manufactured by Spacesaver Corporation, Southwest Solutions Group Inc. is the only authorized Spacesaver distributor/contractor in Montana. This authorization ensures proper installation and integration of Spacesaver parts, maintaining the system's integrity and warranty. Utilizing a non-authorized contractor introduces significant risks, including potential damage to the existing system, improper installation, security vulnerabilities, and voiding of existing warranties. This repair and replacement is essential to ensure the 341st Security Forces Group can rapidly deploy personnel and equipment in response to security threats, a critical component of the base's overall strategic mission.
This is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by the date below, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
