NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
The Network Contracting Office (NCO 9), Department of Veterans Affairs intends to sole source a contract for the supply and service of The Micro Gas Chromatograph (GC) Fusion with Installation and Maintenance.
This procurement for the following medical center:
Department of Veteran Affairs
Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS)
Vanderbilt University R&D
2215B Garland Avenue
Nashville TN 37232

The objective of this sole source award is for a firm fixed price with Inficon Inc.
This sole source determination is in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition, procedures and in accordance with 41 U.S.C.1708 as implemented by FAR 5.201(b) and FAR 5.202(a)(13), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. Inficon is the manufacturer of The Micro Gas Chromatograph (GC) Fusion and the only authorized supplier.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing and the size standard is 1,000 Employees.

No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
