Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corp Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Data Security, Inc., 300 South 7th Street Lincoln, NE 68508 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source reasonably available under restrictive rights and exclusive licensing agreements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
This requirement is for the purchase of a Solid State Media Disintegrator(SSMD) 2mm, Part Number: 971-0001 manufactured and distributed by Data Security, Inc. The disintegrator will be used to disposed of and destory solid state media devices used by 8th Communication Battalion.
Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses must be received by the Contracting Office no later than 12:00pm EDST, 17 February 2025.
