Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award on a Sole Source basis contract #19BN1525Q0001 to CFAO Infrastructure, Benin for Elevator Maintenance Services at U.S. Embassy Cotonou. This award is being issued under the authority of FAR 13.106-(b)(1). The contract shall be for a period of one (1) year plus four (4) option years for these services.
This will be a sole source requirement in accordance with the authority and citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. CFAO Infrastructure, Benin is considered as the only responsible source to handle US Embassy Cotonou elevator maintenance requirements, and no other services will satisfy the agency requirements.
The services will be provided in Cotonou, Benin. This is not a request for proposal, and the intent of this notice is to meet regulatory disclose requirements, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Department.
