Description
This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award on a Sole Source basis contract #PR15330974 to DHL International Benin SARL for Outbound Courier Services at U.S. Embassy Cotonou. This award will be under NAICS code 492110 and is being issued under the authority of FAR 13.106-(b)(1). The contract shall be for a period of 60 days to allow time for the Government to award a 5-year competitive contract for these services.
This will be a sole source requirement in accordance with the authority and citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. DHL International Benin SARL is considered as the only responsible source to handle US Embassy Cotonou requirements, and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.
The services will be provided in Cotonou, Benin. This is not a request for proposal, and the intent of this notice is to meet regulatory disclose requirements, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Department.
