Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Knox (MICC-Knox) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole-source basis to Performance Designs Inc. The delivery will be made no later than 6 January 2026 utilizing NAICS 314999 Parachutes Manufactoring with a size standard of 550 employees.
The United States Army Parachute Team (USAPT) jump exhibitions provide prime opportunities to connect with thousands of attendees which allows the United States Army to showcase its products, services, and resources to a highly engaged audience. PD Parachutes are the main parachutes utilized by USAPT and its members are intimately familiar with the packing requirements, opening characteristics and landing characteristics of these canopies. PD is engineered for durability, capable of withstanding the extensive jump volume performed annually by the USAPT. It is the government's intent to procure and fulfill this requirement as a Sole Source.
