Description
The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to AdaCore, 150 W. 30th Street, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001 (Cage Code: 1NNP8) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
The Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Mission Software Fleet Support Team (FST) has a requirement for to maintain and have support for various software programs that are used to support the MH60RS program. The AdaCore Toolset which consists of GNAT Pro Enterprise version 17 and 19 Ada native environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2012) for x86 GNU Linux (64 bits) native, GNAT coverage version 19 native toolset for source and object code coverage for x86 GNU Linux (64 bits) native, and CodePeer version 19 native toolset for automatic code review and validation for x86 GNU Linux (64 bits) native is currently being used by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Lockheed Martin for the Avionics Operational Program (AOP) releases of the MH60RS software. The Mission Software FST needs to renew Annual Software Maintenance for the AdaCore Toolset to allow licensing for one (1) to five (5) unique users. For this reason, the government intends to procure these products on a sole source basis from AdaCore (CAGE Code: 1NNP8).
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.
