THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION OR PROPOSAL.
The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), located in Washington, D.C., intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis and award a 12-month base period with an 11.5-month option period Logical Follow-on to an existing order to Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3), NITACC contract number 75N98120D00130, Conviso-V, LLC, 1204 E Main Ste 300, Luray, VA 22835.
This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of permitting other than full and open competition, implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) - “The order must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract.”
This is a follow-on order to a competitively awarded small business set-aside order issued using the procedures at FAR 16.505. In the interest of economy and efficiency, this follow-on contract will allow for vital continuity of services.
Application Delivery Services (ADS) provides support for Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (laaS) products and solutions such as, Salesforce, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Analysis Services, Power BI, and Power Apps and provides support for content management tools and digital experience platforms such as, Drupal and SharePoint for the Office of the Secretary and its BU mission partners at the Herbert C. Hoover building (HCHB) and other ancillary locations in the National Capital Region. ADS seeks a contractor to provide ongoing maintenance and operational support activities for current technology solutions.
