Notice of Intent: Sole Source Award

**THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION**

The National Institutes of Health (NIH/OLAO), hereby gives notice of its intent to award a sole source contract to Hamamatsu located at 360 Foothill Road, PO Box 6910, Bridgewater, NJ 08807-0910 for the purchase of Photosensor Module with PMT and Power supply.

This is not a request for competitive proposals. Potential sources who believe they can provide the service listed above are invited to submit a capability package in writing to Contract Specialist, Ms. Van Holley at holleyv@od.nih.gov no later than 9:00 AM ET on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The Government will not cover any costs for any information or inquiry submitted as a result of this notice.

The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is : 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees.

Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information:

1. Name of Company;
2. SAM UEI;
3. POC name and contact information;
4. The specific product(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the items to be included on this order; and
5. A description of product/services and overall capabilities.
Contractors are required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov.
