NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AND SYNOPSIS
The U.S. Government, Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a supply contract to provide Blood Bank Reagent testing supplies (including equipment, maintenance, and support at no extra cost to the government) located at Fort Johnson, LA used in support of the Pathology testing mission at Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital (BJACH) due to the MHS Genesis Network backlog delay. Ordering Period is from 01 October 2024 to 30 September 2025.

Synopsis Description of Supplies: The contractor shall provide Blood Bank Reagent testing supplies (including equipment, maintenance, and support at no extra cost to the government) located at Fort Johnson, LA. The blood bank testing instruments, reagents and consumables will provide a fully automated, discrete random-access analyzer system capable of performing all required systems and services necessary. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing automated transfusion analyzer systems and independent workstation (inclusive of instruments, ancillary equipment, maintenance, services, repairs, support, parts as required to maintain the systems in optimal operating condition, and any installation and removal, at no extra cost to the Government). The Contractor shall perform to the standards of IAW the Statement of Work (SOW). The clinical tests provided by this instrument will help provide appropriate patient care, avoid unnecessary costs, and delays in diagnosis.
