NOTICE OF INTENT FOR PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS.
This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A NON-COMPETITIVE CONTRACT in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a Single Source."
The General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Office of Centralized Acquisition Services (OCAS) intends to issue a single source award to CenturyLink Communications, LLC d/b/a Lumen Technologies Group to provide Boyers Local Phone Service for The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The intent is to solicit, negotiate, and issue a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order award in accordance with 41 U.S.C.1901, FAR 13.106-1(b), and 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), where CenturyLink Communications, LLC is the only one source determined to be reasonably available for award. The estimated Period of Performance (PoP) is for a base period of one-year, with four one-year option periods.
CenturyLink Communications, LLC shall provide OPM with Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) Lines to facilitate the use of fax machines within the facilities located in Boyers and East Butler, Pennsylvania. The contractor will be required to provide and maintain 23 POTS lines that‘s currently in use at the facilities.
