This is a notice of a proposed contract action. The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) PS64, 6910 Cooper Avenue, Ft. Meade, Maryland 20755-7087 will issue a sole source bridge contract to 22nd Century Technologies Inc. The Requiring Activity is the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Fort Gregg-Adams, VA 23801-1809.
Description of Services:
This effort is in direct support of DCMA-IT Operations (ITO), Network Operations. DCMA ITO is an enterprise support function within DCMAIT that is responsible for the network and underlying network infrastructure and communications capability from the enterprise-wide area network (WAN) all the way down to the local area network (LAN) level at DCMA locations in support of DCMA-s hosted applications. The objective of this effort is to help achieve DCMAIT defined availability, reliability, security, dependability and compliance-ready performance standards for the DCMA Enterprise Network.
The contractor shall provide support services to ensure DCMA-s Enterprise Network maintains operations 24x7x365. This includes providing support at the Primary NOC (currently located in Smyrna, GA.), with the capability to Continuity of Operations (COOP) operations in the event of a catastrophic failure rendering the Primary NOC inoperable. The NOC operates in the confines of a secure facility, organized, staffed, and equipped to manage Network Operations and Maintenance (O&M) functions that are relevant across the enterprise for more than 2000 DCMA WAN, LAN, VoIP, Firewall, VTC, SIPRNet and other security devices.
