SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEThe Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 05, Perry Point VAMC, 59 Avenue D, Perry Point, MD 21902 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government s of its intent to award a sole source contract to Deer s Head Hospital Center. The contract is expected to be awarded IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements per 41 USC §3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.The contract will be for Deer s Head Hospital Center to provide Community Nursing Home services for the Perry Point VAMC.Deer s Head Hospital Center is located at 351 Deer s Head Hospital Road, Salisbury, MD 21902.NAICS code: 623110, Nursing Care Facilities (Skilled Nursing Facilities) (SBA Size Standard $34 million)This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals.
