Notice of Intent to Sole Source for CompEd for Havasupai Elementary School (HES)NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) intends to enter into a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract with AB Staffing Solutions LLC to provide Compensatory Education Advisor Services for Havasupai Elementary School (HES), located in Havasupai under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).Name of Proposed AB Staffing Solutions LLCStreet Address: 3451 S. Mercy RdCity, State, Zip: Gilbert, AZ 85297-0206Phone: (480) 719-7258The period of performance:05/13/2025-05/12/2026The estimated value of the proposed action is $162,000.00This is an urgent and compelling requirement due to the nature of the services and the unforeseen circumstances that arose. The services of Compensatory Education are services that are highly specialized and cannot be obtained from another company given the short turnaround time and unforeseen decision by the previous contractor.Due to the remote location of the HES within the Grand Canyon, this makes this requirement unique, and require special consideration for the Contractor to meet the requirements and tasks.Key Considerations: Contractor must secure and fulfill the requirement, while continuing the service without disruption or delay. Contract Personnel may need to either hike out of the canyon or sleep on a cot in the HES Gymnasium if the individual is unable to fly out of Supai, AZ on the BIE¿s contracted helicopter due to unforeseen weather conditions. When local lodging is not available, the BIE HES will provide a cot, sheets, pillows, and blankets for Contractor Personnel use during their visit and stay. Contract Personnel are recommended to bring in snacks to the Canyon, if possible.
