This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source. Funding for this initiative is through the Helmsley Charitable Trust Grant for new Ultrasound Equipment under the Rural Healthcare Initiative. To provide high quality Diagnostic Ultrasound Imaging compatible with the current equipment to the patients of the White Earth Health Center. The Helmsley Grant is partnered with numerous healthcare equipment providers, of which GE Precision Healthcare is a part. Required equipment is below.

The intent is to complete a sole source award directly to GE Precision Healthcare for ultrasound equipment to ensure the compatibility with the other GE components within the laboratory at White Earth. GE Precision Healthcare is the only vendor capable of providing the subsequent service and maintenance of the equipment due to the proprietary nature of the equipment required.
