NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE ORDER. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALSThe United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Pacific Region Office (PRO), intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price order with Peterson Tractor Co., a Non-Indian Owned Business, for Repairs to a Gyro-Trac, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). Only one local location (zip code 96003) can provide the tools, equipment, and level of quality required because the equipment repair is unique and/or highly specialized. Peterson Tractor Co. will provide repair and maintenance services to include: steam clean machine; inspect hoses going to mulcher and leaking hoses in panel; drain all fluids, change filters, and refill; fluids: engine, hydraulic, fuel; remove and install access door latch and shocks; remove and install wheels for undercarraige and right sprocket; replace seals for wheels and insepct bearing for wear; rivot down walkway and right and left diamond plate to machine; remove all windows and install new; install bottom access plate under the machine; replace mulcher teeth and replace the front rubber and bracket in front of the machine and bolt them back down. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310 and the Business Size Standard is $12.5M. This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source only.
