Description
The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West (MRCO-W), Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (FHHCB), Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Biospace, Inc. DBA InBody USA, a small business, under authority 41 United States Code 4106(c) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, for the InBody 770 Body Composition Analyzer for Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center (RWBAHC), Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1250 number of employees.
This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the InBody 770 Body Composition Analyzer. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available.
The Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (FHHCB) intends to make a sole source award on or about 5 September 2025 to Biospace, Inc. DBA InBody USA, 13850 Cerritos Corporate Dr. Unit C, Cerritos, CA, 90703.
